What is AlphaLEAN®?
AlphaLEAN® is a comprehensive blend of essential fatty acids. It is a natural fat loss aid that plays a vital role in reducing bodyfat, suppressing sugar cravings and retaining lean muscle. AlphaLEAN® is also a natural anti-oxidant that helps curb cravings for carbohydrates.

Its main ingredients are conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), gamma linoleic acid (GLA) and the Omega-3 Fatty Acids [linolenic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)]. They are combined to produce the most comprehensive fat loss product available that contains essential fatty acids.

Conjugated Linoleic Acid (CLA) is a naturally occurring group of derivatives of linoleic acid – a healthy type of fat that is found in meats and dairy products. However, CLA content of these sources has undergone a 75% decline due to grain feeding of livestock (as opposed to grass diets). This is why it’s a good idea to supplement extra CLA into your diet.

Research indicates that CLA may offer a number of health benefits including enhanced immune function, as well as potential protection from cancer and heart disease. Also, CLA appears to stimulate muscle growth while simultaneously promoting fat loss. The research on this shows that it may enhance fat loss by decreasing the amount of fat that is stored in fat cells, raising metabolism, and even increasing the amount of fat that is burned during sleep.

Gamma Linolenic Acid (GLA) is derived from the omega-6 fatty acid – linoleic acid. Although omega-6 is typically consumed in large quantities in the American diet, many people are still deficient in GLA. It is believed that this is due to the fact that many oils containing omega-6 are hydrogenated. Hydrogenation can inhibit the conversion of linoleic acid to GLA. GLA is the precursor for many important prostaglandins. These are hormone-like substances that affect many processes in the body like blood vessel, skin and joint health. They help build muscle mass and promote thermogenesis (fat burning) as well.

Omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids include linolenic acid, eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). The body manufactures EPA and DHA by the conversion of linolenic acid. Becuase linolenic acid cannot be made in the body, it is classified as an essential fatty acid and must be obtained from either the diet or in supplement form. These fatty acids appear to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. As well as providing a whole slew of health benefits, they also help prevent muscle breakdown, enhance joint healing, improve brain function and encourage fat loss.

5 of 5 great product! June 25, 2012
Reviewer: ALEX rodriguez from CORONA, CA United States
this product is great! it is by far the best CLA/EFA that I have ever taken. It has all of the essential fats and cla all in one. I used to have to carry a bottle of each just to make sure I got the right amounts. I would take this supplement three times a day two capsules. This product makes me be leaner and I had a better overall feeling of wellness. I would recommend this product to anyone.
